Wolfgang Achtner is theologian specialized in the science - religion dialogue. He is teaching Protestant theology at the Justus Liebig University Giessen and founder and director of the Transscientia Institute for Interdisciplinary Research, Philosophy and Religion (www.transscientia.de). He has published a three books about the interaction between science and religion and initiated a number of interdiscilinary research projects in this field.
