You want to be a ‚Guest Blogger’ like Nobel Laureate Aaron Ciechanover, who told us, why he comes to Lindau? As an attendee of the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings you are welcome to join us and write about your personal expectations and experiences! You may do so before, during and after the meeting. You might blog in Chinese, English, German or Spanish. Just send us a short Email to get in contact with us and we will help you.

We know, not everybody is a writer or a blogger. But surely you have an opinion on several issues to be discussed during the meeting, and we pick up here in the blogs. Maybe we have written something, you don’t agree with? Or you just want to add something? Please comment the post. Tell us, what you think.

Some of you also might blog already on his/her own blog. Please let us know (Email) and we could include certein posts in our Lindau Chatter.

Video specials

In addition, some participating young scientists might join our video team and capture own impressions of the meeting – see this video of the Indian participant Srivasha Rajshakar 2010 (# lnlm10).

Markita Landry's Video II of the Lindau Meeting 2010

Of course, the video bloggers are professionally supported by cutting techniques and tips and tricks. These films will be placed both on this Lindau Nobel Community site and on our youtube platform. If you have filmed videos of your own already and posted them on homepages of your University or Institute or on youtube - please use the hasthag #lnlm11. Tell us about it (Email) and we might link to it.

Q&A - Ask and see your question printed in a special Nature supplement.

You always wanted to ask a Nobel Laureate and/or brilliant young scientists a question? You may do so in Nobel Questions – Lindau Answers. The successful question setters will also be given an opportunity to read the laureates’ answers and respond. Answers and responses will appear in print and online.

And if you don’t have any idea, what to ask, you might vote for best questions. Finally the most stimulating and thought-provoking questions will be chosen and put to participating Nobel laureates by Nature editors. A list of the prize winners with their winning questions and the answers given will appear in a special supplement to Nature on October 13th 2011.

Win an Xbox Kinect in our Flickr competition

Like last year there is a competition on flickr. Upload your pictures on our flickr community page (#lnlm11). Photographers of the most brilliant, special, detailed or exciting pictures might win an Xbox Kinect.

More Social Connections

We also recommend to follow us on Twitter and to tweet about the meeting using the hashtag # lnlm11. And last but not least we invite all of you, who still are not part of our growing Facebook community to join us there – together with last year’s Alumni.

See you at Lindau! Don’t hesitate to ask and contact anyone of our blogteam!
