The astrophysicist Helmut Dannerbauer – research associate at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy, Heidelberg – is focusing on the study of galaxy evolution in the young universe. Native of Munich, he reports on new discoveries in this research topic. Furthermore he aims to present the reader new methods and tools in the context of observational astrophysics. He completes his blog with insights into the daily life and routine of an astronomer.
